USM HCM-B: Hytronic Die Cutting Machine Model B

Main Features

This hytronic die cutting machine is used to cut all types of leather, plastic and fabric upper material. It is also used for cutting sock linings, outsoles, linings and insole board. Various heights of dies may be interchanged without machine adjustment if the machine has first been adjusted to the highest die. Lighter-weight dies costing 25-40% less than conventional open clicking dies can be used, as they are not subject to the pounding abuse of the conventional open clicking dies on mechanical-type machines. The hytronic die cutting machine builds up only sufficient pressure to complete the cut, regardless of the die size.

The beam is of light alloy for easy swinging. Availability of two and four beam sizes makes the hytronic die cutting machine adaptable for all shoe factory requirements. The control circuit is completely transistorized, designed for dependable operation and practically no maintenance cost. The control circuit, plus spring return of the beam, contribute to faster machine cycle time.

Impact, noise and vibration have been virtually eliminated, which greatly reduces operator fatigue. Production increases from 6-10% have been noted over mechanical clicking machines. Weight and floor space required have been reduced approximately 25% as compared to C-frame models.

Adjustments are few and simple. Through the stroke control switch and adjusting for length of stroke, it is possible to operate straight hydraulic without the Hytronic feature for cutting conductive, as well as non-conductive, materials.
